Samsung Electronics America Named to Everything Channel’s 2009 Annual Report Card Seven Consecutive Years

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, Sept. 23, 2009 – Samsung Electronics America Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, the number one worldwide brand of LCD display products, announced that is has been named Everything Channel’s 2009 Display Company of the Year in their Annual Report Card (ARC) survey. For 24 years, the ARC Awards have recognized outstanding partner programs and superb vendor service.

This marks the seventh year in a row Samsung has won Company of the Year in the Display category and Overall Award for Display Technologies. Samsung’s channel program counts some 18,000 partners in the U.S. and 100,000 worldwide. Samsung swept all three sub-categories Technical Innovation, Support and Partnership to take home the prestigious award. Samsung Electronics America Information Technology Division also won Channel Champs for the second year in a row for the Display Category.
